You will join the Core Product team, the people behind ASB GlassCourt OS - a world-first interactive software solution that connects sport, performance technology, and fan engagement. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for customers and internal users. You will focus on diagnosis, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and customer satisfaction by delivering solutions, providing training, and ensuring seamless product functionality.

This role is hired out of the Netherlands suitable for candidates within commutable distance of central Amsterdam, and/or remote workers out of the US.

Responsibilities

The Support Engineer plays a crucial role in providing advanced technical support and product expertise to both customers and internal users.

  • Provide support in English for enquiries from the EMEA and US regions
  • Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, root cause analysis, and transparency across teams
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Deliver technical support via multiple channels (ticketing system, phone calls, and screen sharing), joining live calls as needed to provide updates
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, using strong soft skills and subject-matter expertise to resolve customer issues
  • Perform case reviews to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop action plans for the support team
  • Use operational experience to identify trends, guide team tactics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understand customer and internal use cases and advocate for their needs by influencing feature requests and bug fixes
  • Create, review, and maintain knowledge-base articles, standard operating procedures, best practices, and documentation for end users and the global support team
  • Ramp up quickly on new technologies and apply them in a customer-facing environment
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the organisation, sharing best practices, driving operational improvements, and living our company vision and values
  • Participate in a rotating schedule that may include weekends, public holidays, and out-of-hours support
  • Influence customers and/or local partners to follow best practices and work directly with them to troubleshoot and identify solutions
  • Engage with support teams across multiple regions and internal functions, including Technical Directors, Customer Success, and Sales, to deliver the best outcomes for users
  • Formalise and champion internal Support Engineer processes
  • Participate in and document release-readiness activities

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a technical support, systems, or engineering role
  • Strong technical leadership skills with an architectural mindset and solid API knowledge
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment, balancing rapid iteration with reliability
  • Adaptable interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional internal teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on clear documentation
  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or German is a plus but not essential
  • Legally permitted to work in the Netherlands
